Is This The Newest Tradition For Weddings?

Sweet-Treats

More and more often, brides and grooms are adding little ‘surprises’ to wow their guests; and a trend that is definitely growing is sweet treats.

Sweet treats can include candy carts, popcorn, ice cream vans / bikes, chocolate fountains, candy floss, mini cakes and much more.

Candy carts, are most probably, one of the most popular at the moment with jarred sweets being left on, you guessed it- a cart! Sweet treats can also be displayed on a table for guests to help themselves.

We love the idea of placing your own DIY sweet treats in jars on your own personalised ‘sweet treats’ table or as an option for your centrepieces. It will also cost you a fraction of the price of using a supplier, so you could make big savings on your overall budget!

Candy carts are normally found during the evening reception. This means that guests are able to pick at them throughout the night. Other types of sweet treats may, however, be more suited for other times of the day, depending on your wedding.

If you’re not having a sit down meal, but a buffet meal instead, then you might decide to put your sweet treats out at the same time as the buffet. Some sweet treats will be especially suited for this if you are having a fun fair themed wedding, such as popcorn and candy floss.

If you’re not having a fun fair themed wedding, then popcorn and candy floss can still be used to inject some fun into your day, especially the evening reception.

If you’re looking for something for a more formal wedding, then a chocolate fountain could be the sweet treat you decide to go for. Most chocolate fountain companies will provide everything you need and allow you to pick the things you would like to dip.

If you think that this might be a bit messy for you, then why not have a mini cake table. These could be available throughout the evening reception for your guests to pick at. This is also great if you don’t fancy a traditional wedding cake. You could instead have the cakes on a stand for the photographs, and then allow your guests to come and help themselves.

If you fancy something sweet, then there is plenty of choice, and they will most definitely inject some fun into your big day. Think about how they could fit into your wedding.
